NOT REALLY MUCH NEWS BUT.....

Incase no body knows, the W.A.S.P Helldorado tour as been postponed to early 2000, this is due to Blackie's recovery on his injured elbow......more news on that when we recieve it.

INTERVIEW WITH BLACKIE LAWLESS

On Friday 17th September Blackie Lawless phoned us for a 'chat' - infact it turned into a hour and a half interview........Stay tuned to read what he had to say about his surgery, fan club, tour, future W.A.S.P plans and alot more!!!!!! Interview should be up within the next 2 weeks

W.A.S.P. TO TOUR LATER THIS YEAR!!

Just had a e-mail off the NATION regarding the US tour. Here's what they said.....W.A.S.P. after having just completed their very successful European tour in support of their latest album "HELLDORADO", will be postponing their North American tour.

Lead vocalist Blackie Lawless will require othroscopic surgery for a torn tendon in his right elbow. The injury, that happened almost a year ago was done playing baseball. Says Blackie: "I was throwing a lot of curve balls and I felt something snap, so I guess the New York Yankees are going to have to win the World Series without me this year. But Seriously, I've tried therapy and anti-inflammatory medication for months and it is getting progressively worse, so now I have no choice. It's so bad I can't squeeze a guitar pick in my fingers. I just didn't want to say anything to anybody until I knew exactly what was going on. Some of the European shows, the pain was so great I didn't know if I was gonna be able to finish that portion of the tour ... so now it's official...I got to do it. If everything goes O.K. I'll be back nastier and meaner than ever, so lets keep our fingers crossed!"

Look for W.A.S.P. to be on tour in North America in October and November

Below is a e-mail we recieved from Sinza regarding his W.A.S.P action figures....He needs our help, so lets make this happen!

This is your chance to help out Blackie and the boys and really be part of something cool! Blackie asked me during a interview to help him get a W.A.S.P. action figure
contract with the Todd McFarlane CO. This is the company that makes EVERYTHING that is SPAWN and they also make the KISS figures, Ozzy Osbourne, X-Files, Beatles, Metal Gear, Dawn, Austin Powers, and on and on. They make the coolest figures in the world and they are thinking of doing Motley Crue with the 'Shout' look, Alice Cooper, and other 'rock characters'.Heres the deal. When I lived in Arizona I met and made friends with a couple of guys that work as Todd McFArlanes assistants. I also lived about 2 blocks from their offices. I even worked with them a couple of nights and got to meet and talk to Todd. These two guys are W.A.S.P. fans and are already helping me 100% on this project.I sent down a 50 page presentatin packet on the Blackie Lawless figure project. It included everthingMcFarlane needed to know. About 25 pages of pictures and 25 of interviews and articles.I put as much info in this as I could. I also made a Prototype figure of Blackie that I sent down with a tape of W.A.S.P.'s music over the last 15 years. The figure turned out almost perfect, if I do say so myself. I also carved a Widow Bass out of plastic and put a bloody skull in Blackie's hand.

I've spent about $50 and God knows how many hours putting all this together and now McFarlane Co.has it in their hands. Now I ask for your help.What I ask is easy. Any W.A.S.P. fan online has NO reason to say they couldn't help out.All I'm asking for is for a FLOOD of e-mail to spawn@spawn.com, You. Your friends. You under different names!Do you want W.A.S.P. action figures???????If not, are you FAN enough, loyal enough, to help out the band, the fans, and one guy who put alot of work into something cool for everyone???Think of all the publicity the band would get by being on the back of ALL THE OTHER figures. This could be REALLY big for W.A.S.P. McFarlane Toys is VERY powerful.And Blackie asked for help From me and from you. The family.

For once I want to rally the troops and MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN!
